This week has been crazy as usual! I am so happy to say I am 1 week closer to graduation!! I am literally counting down the days until I am done. I have the WORST case of senioritis EVER. Anyways we had a lot of exciting stuff going on this week, and here it is...
1. We have a new foster this week, Barbie. She is so tiny, about 14 lbs. and a little snorter. She reminds me of a 'bug', pug and boston mix. We are SO happy to say that the same family that adopted Kramer is going to be adopting Barbie aka Iris tomorrow. They picked a new name for her already because she wasn't responding to Barbie at all.
2. We got an accepted offer on a vacant lot!! We are so excited to say that we are gonna be building our own custom home in the very near future!! There will be a lot of updates about that on the way, but step one was knowing for sure we had a place to build. We are so excited about the lot. It's a whole acre!! Much better than the 1/4 acre we are working with. And it's in the country, no more city living for us. It hasn't worked out to great for us in the 2 1/2 years we have been doing it.
3. When we found out we got the accepted offer, we bundled up the girls and ourselves and set out to let them see where we were going to be moving. We had them walk the parameter just so we could see how big it really was. And then we had a toast with some wine! It was so much fun watching all the girls running around!
4. Marley lost one of her baby teeth! It was so cute to see! I've never actually seen a puppy tooth before.
5. My mom asked me to go with her to Art in Bloom at the Milwaukee Art Museum. We went last night and had a blast! This is her interpretation of the little girl. She said it was a boring one, but I thought it looked pretty good. Her friend Alka won first prize. It was cool that I got to meet some of her friends. We even watched the Iron Man competition, which was so cool. The designers were given a bunch of stuff and had 50 min to make a floral arrangement. The guy that won ended up having to get 4 stitches cause he sliced his finger, but his arrangement was my favorite!
